
United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc has graduated 374 young professionals from its 2026 Graduate Management Accelerated Programme (GMAP) class.
The graduation ceremony marked the completion of the intensive training program designed to equip young Africans with the skills, knowledge, and leadership qualities required to thrive in the banking and financial services industry.
The GMAP is UBA’s flagship graduate trainee program aimed at developing future leaders for the bank across Africa and globally. The 2026 class underwent months of rigorous training, mentorship, and practical banking experience.
Speaking at the event, UBA management congratulated the graduands and reiterated the bank’s commitment to youth empowerment, talent development, and driving Africa’s economic growth through human capital investment.
The new graduates are expected to take up various roles across UBA’s operations in Nigeria and other countries where the bank operates.
